Join us at VVS Corner Library for an author talk with local resident and longtime CPA Bill Hatfield, author of United States vs. David Mattson.
Hatfield will discuss his book and the real-life experience behind it. The story follows a successful accountant whose longtime client becomes the subject of a federal investigation in the aftermath of September 11, 2001, unexpectedly drawing him into the federal justice system.
A practicing Certified Public Accountant since 1975, Hatfield has operated his own CPA practice and has also worked as a Certified Financial Planner, held multiple securities licenses, and served as a branch manager for Raymond James. He has served on the board of directors and committees of the New York State Society of CPAs.
